Jim Dampier is a 1957 graduate of Carson-Newman College and earned his Master of Divinity degree from Southern Seminary in 1965.  He has served as pastor of churches in Indiana and East Tennessee.  He is married to Kathy Ann Fricke and has three children, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.  Jim came as Minister to Senior Adults at First Baptist Church in January of 1998.  His hobbies include collecting vintage fountain pens, genealogy, listening to vinyl records on vintage stereo equipment, and fly-fishing.
