I am a Kentuckian by birth, Jefferson Countian by calling, and a member of God’s family by grace. A member of FBCJC since 2005, I’ve had the pleasure of serving as the Minister to Youth and College Students since 2007. I have been happily married to Mandy since 2004 and we’re the proud parents of Christopher Eiren and Noah Pax.

When I’m not in my office or with my family, you’ll often find me teaching Religion and Interdisciplinary courses across the street at Carson-Newman College, where I graduated in 2001. After my first go-round in Jefferson City, I earned a Master of Divinity degree with an emphasis in Christian Education from Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond (VA). In addition to these accomplishments, I also won three ribbons at the 2010 Jefferson County Fair for photography.
I am a firm believer that the most profound artistic endeavor of the 21st century exploring faith is the television show Lost, and I would be happy to loan you the DVDs if you remain unconvinced.
Along with Lost, I enjoy the music of Andrew Peterson and Switchfoot, the writings of Shane Claiborne and Wendell Berry, and, of course, a medium Campfire Mocha from Caribou Coffee.
