I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, but raised in Michigan.  My family moved to Talbott, TN when I was in the 4^th grade.  I accepted Christ as a child and was baptized at Panther Springs United Methodist Church in Morristown where my family attended.  I graduated from Morristown West High School and attended Walters State Community College, where I met my husband of 26 years, David.  We were married in 1985 at Panther Springs United Methodist Church.  David grew up in church here at First Baptist, so when we moved back home, we made it our church home also.  We now have three beautiful children, Kristen, Zach, and Jessie.  They are all very active in youth, choirs, and missions in our church.

I joined the staff of First Baptist ten years ago as the Food Services Director.  Eight years ago, I was delighted to become the Children's Coordinator, also.  I know this is an unusual combination, but I enjoy both positions so much.  I get to work with almost everyone in the church from families with small children to Senior Adults.  As you explore the many ministries our church has to offer, I hope you will find a place where you can become involved.  If you don't see a place, check with me and I will be more than happy to help you find one at First Baptist Jefferson City.  To contact me, you can call the church office at 865-475-3826 or email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
