Karen Wilson was born in Louisville, KY, and graduated from Kentucky Baptist Hospital School of Nursing.  She married Jim Wilson in 1974 and they have two children, Elizabeth Jones (Spencer) of Jefferson City, TN, and Amanda Taylor (Jason) of Worland, WY.  Thay have two grandsons, Eli and Noah.

Karen joined the First Baptist Church staff as an administrative assistant on October 1, 1987.  Karen enters contributions into the computer, handles memorial gifts, coordinates the Deacon Family Ministry Program, prepares TableTalk, the Sunday bulletin, and the weekly prayer list, orders supplies, and answers the phone and door.

When not at work, she enjoys reading, watching NCIS, eating out, and playing with her grandsons.
