JFK once said, "We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives."
We will both stop and thank later this month. Gene Wilder has certainly made a difference in our lives at FBC. Although he is now retired, the effects of his ministry will continue to inspire and support us as we travel together on the our life-journey. As an expression of our gratitude, we will formally recognize Gene and Pay at a retirement reception in the fellowship hall. A brief tribute for his ministry will begin at 3:45. If you would like to add your personal appreciation for the Wilders, you may do so with a letter or card. We will collect these during the reception and if you are unable to attend you may leave your card in the church office. Also, if you would want to make your own gift, you may include that with your card or letter. Our prayers and thanks surround Gene and Pat as they begin this new retirement phase of their lives.
