We have a very large music ministry at First Baptist Church.

Our choral program starts at age 3 and goes all the way through adulthood.  Our Celebration Singers go on a yearly choir tour filled with service and bringing the word of God through music.

Our preschool choir is for ages 3-Kindergarten and is directed by Megan Rundles and Melodie Saunders.

Our Music Makers is for 1st and 2nd grade and is directed by Kim D. Bowen, Evelyn Fink, and Thomas Milligan.

Our Young Musicians choir is for 3rd-6th grade and is directed by Pam Hester, Julia Bass, Donna Dobyns, and Tanya Turner.

Our Celebration Singers choir is for 7th-12th grade and is directed by Kim D. Bowen and accompanied by Hope Cooper.

Our Contemporary Ensemble sings in our Contemporary Service and is directed by Kim D. Bowen and accompanied by Dr. Ryan Fogg.

Our Chancel Choir sings in our Traditional Service and is directed by Kim D. Bowen and accompanied by Kathy Bowen and Dr. Ryan Fogg.

We have a brass ensemble that plays in our services under the direction of Kim D. Bowen.

We also have 3 handbell groups.  All three groups ring regularly in our worship services, and our youth and adult handbell group participates in area handbell festivals as well.

Our children's handbell choir is for children in 3rd-6th grade.  They meet on Mondays, right after school, and are directed by our Minister of Music, Kim D. Bowen.  Kim is assisted by Julia Bass.

Our youth handbell choir, the Judson Ringers, is for youth in 7th-12th grade.  They meet on Wednesday evenings at 5:00 pm and are directed by Ronda Blevins and Thomas Bass.

Our adult handbell choir, the Steele Ringers, is for college age and up and is directed by our Minister of Music, Kim D. Bowen.
