Missions is an important part of our church life. We believe that God called us to be witnesses at home and abroad, sharing God’s love in the world.

We are involved in ministering locally through Appalachian Outreach and Habitat for Humanity. Our members participate in mission trips overseas to such places as Zimbabwe, Croatia, Morocco, Bulgaria, Kosovo and India.

We partner with the people of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship to support field personnel working in the United States and around the globe.

Members have the opportunity to be involved in missions through ongoing organizations meeting at the church and in the community. Mission Base helps our children learn about and participate in missions. The Current Missions Group meets monthly to study a wide variety of mission efforts around the globe, hosting guest speakers personally involved in local and international missions.
