Dr. Chad Hartsock is Associate Professor of Religion at Carson-Newman. He joined the Religion faculty in 2008. Chad has been a member of First Baptist Church nearly all of that time, along with his wife Ami and daughter Kaylin (who turns 5 this month). His primary teaching responsibilities include New Testament and Greek. Chad is a '99 Carson-Newman graduate, after which he attended Truett Seminary and Baylor University where he received both his master's degree and doctoral degree. Chad has served on church in Texas, and currently serves as a supply preach in area churches on a regular basis. Chad also officiates high school basketball and baseball in East Tennessee. We are happy to welcome Chad into the pulpit during the four Sundays in March.
