Deacon Ministry

We are so glad to have many men and women who serve as active deacons at First Baptist Church. Each deacon has church families that they minister to in good times and hard times, times of celebration and times of sadness.

To serve as a deacon, candidates may be male or female, must be at least 21 years of age, and a member of the church for at least one year. Deacons are nominated by other members of the church, voted on, and they serve three-year terms.
