Deacon Ministry

We are are grateful to the men and women who serve as active deacons at First Baptist Church. Each deacon has church families that they minister to in good times and hard times, times of celebration and times of sadness.

To serve as a deacon, candidates must be at least 21 years of age and a member of the church for at least one year. Deacons are nominated by other members of the church, voted on, and serve three-year terms.
