Wednesday’s Neighbors

Wednesday’s Neighbors was started to help our neighbors who have needs they cannot meet without assistance. We help our neighbors who live in Jefferson City, New Market, and Talbott. A small committee of church members meet with clients each Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.

Options for assistance:

  • food voucher
  • gasoline voucher
  • electric bill
  • water bill
  • natural gas bill

Assistance is given only once a year, to better serve many others. Photo Identification, proof of residency, and the utility bill that needs to be paid are required for assistance.

To schedule a Wednesday appointment, our neighbors may call the church office at (865) 475-3826. To support this ministry, donations may be given to the “Benevolence Fund”.
